During this immersive course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of sailing, docking, mooring, navigation, and anchoring while island-hopping across the Caribbean. After completing your instructor-led week, you can extend your stay for optional independent sailing days to practice your new skills with friends or family.

Both Zero to Hero programs are designed to build confidence through real experience, following the American Sailing tuition:

This course is open to all levels of experience; no prior experience necessary. The maximum number of learning students onboard will be 6. You may also bring along friends and family who are not learning but would like to join the vacation.
Whilst completing your courses around the BVI you can also enjoy a vacation in the sun, explore onshore bars and restaurants, snorkel our amazing coral reefs and discover white sand beaches.

This course is open to all levels of experience, with no prior sailing knowledge required. A maximum of 6 learning students will be onboard to ensure a relaxed and personalised learning experience.

Ready to become an instructor? Join our 2026 IQC in the beautiful British Virgin Islands and leave with your American Sailing Instructors Qualification. To be eligible to sit this course you must:
If you are already certified as an instructor with another governing body eg. RYA, US Sailing. Please let me know as you may be eligible for the conversion course.
